Team Registration and Roster
The Team Manager is responsible for registering the team and managing the Team Roster for each Season of play. Team rosters are due via email to the WSWSA Registrar shortly after the Season’s registration deadline. If a Player is to be added to the Team Roster the Team Manager should notify the WSWSA Registrar by email prior to the Player playing in a match.
The Team Manager is responsible for bringing two copies of the Game Sheet for each match. The Game Sheet shall list the players anticipated to play in the match and is limited to eighteen (18) players. One copy is to be provided to the opposing Team Manager. The second copy is to be used by the Referee in the event of a player injury.
The Team Manager is responsible to notify the WSWSA Scheduler by email of any errors found in the schedule. Such notification shall be sent not later than ten (10) days following the publication of official schedule.
If a Team needs to reschedule a match the Team Manager shall notify the WSWSA Scheduler and opposing Team Manager a minimum of three weeks prior to the scheduled game time. Rescheduled matches will be scheduled on overflow nights.
The WSWSA League Recorder inputs all scores from the referee association’s website and should be checked by the Team Manager to verify accuracy. The Team Manager is responsible to report discrepancies to the WSWSA League Recorder.
In the event of an unplayable field, as determined by the Referee, both Team Managers should immediately report the game not played to the WSWSA Scheduler noting the date, time, and location of the match. WSWSA will reschedule the match, and rescheduled matches will be scheduled on overflow nights.
If the Referee scheduled to officiate fails to appear for the game, Teams shall make their best efforts to agree on a substitute referee or to play the game without one at the scheduled time and place. The home Team Manager should report the no show Referee to the WSWSA Scheduler noting the date, time, and location of the match.
Matches are considered complete if the teams have played 60 minutes. Should a game be suspended prior to 60 minutes of play (e.g., the lights turn off, the referee suspends play due to field conditions) WSWSA will reschedule the match. Both Team Managers shall notify the WSWSA Scheduler of the date and time the incident occurred. Rescheduled matches will be scheduled on overflow nights.
